ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
PAPER SUBMISSION RULES
Paper applications will be made in two groups, oral or poster. Papers that are included in the program but not presented at the congress or whose abstracts are not submitted on time will not be published. Abstracts will be evaluated by the Scientific Advisory Board, and letters of acceptance or rejection and presentation format (oral/poster) will be sent to applicants. The deadline for submission of abstracts is February 21, 2024, and papers submitted after this date will not be evaluated. Papers will be published on the website after the congress.

In order to complete the congress registration process, the registration request must be notified to the congress organizer company and the registration fee must be deposited to the specified bank account number. For detailed information about registration, please see the "Registration and Accommodation" section of our website. Participants whose declarations were accepted It is necessary to complete its registration by March 20, 2024.
POINTS WHICH AUTHORS SHOULD CONSIDER
- In order for the papers to be published in the congress proceedings book, congress registration must be made.
- Papers will only be accepted online via the online paper system. Abstracts sent by mail or fax will not be evaluated.
- The final decision on the presentation format of the paper (oral or poster presentation) belongs to the scientific committee.
- The abstract should not exceed 300 words. It must be written without errors (over 300 words will not be accepted by the system).
- Abbreviations should not be used in titles. Rules regarding the spelling of the title, author names and institutions are given in the online system.
- While writing the names of the authors, their place of work, institution and province, long addresses and titles should not be written.
- Summary; It should be written in the order determined as Introduction, Materials and Methods, Findings and Conclusion.
- Abbreviations other than those in the international system should not be used.
- Papers will be presented in Turkish at the 1st Mood Disorders Congress.
- Your acceptance or rejection letters will be sent to your e-mail address. You can also follow the results via the online abstract submission system.
ATTENTION: Abstracts will be printed in their original form in the proceedings booklet and no corrections will be made. For this reason, it is not important that the summary is legible and not erased.
NOTE: All necessary explanations are available in the system. You can follow the entire evaluation process of your paper through the system with your e-mail and password. Poster & Oral Presentations
Both case reports and original studies will be evaluated as poster/oral presentations in the International Participation Mood Disorders Congress in 27-30 March 2024.

The rules of the abstracts is given below:
- Abstracts must be in English.
- Abbreviations may be used only if they are defined (spelled out in full text at first mention) followed by abbreviation in brackets.
- Please complete all sections in relation to your abstract.
- The abstract in total must be no more than 300 words, including formulas but excluding subtitles.
- Please do not include any bibliographical references, tables, diagrams or appendices.
- If your submission is a case study please complete the boxes as below but treat the titles as the following: Aims = Background, Methods = Case Report, Results = Discussion, Conclusion = Conclusion
- If your abstract does not follow the requested format, it will NOT be accepted. Please do not state ‘Data will be available’ as it will NOT get accepted. Limited data also means it is less likely to be accepted.
- The title of the abstract must be strictly coherent with the data included in the abstract and the conclusions must be warranted by information included in the results section.
- Authors are encouraged to state their hypotheses and frame their conclusions accordingly.
- For studies that include service users, patients or populations, the number of people studied should be explicitly stated in the Methods section.
- Submissions are accepted on the understanding that the work has been performed with the permission of any relevant ethical or legislative body. The authors should therefore ensure the work was conducted with appropriate ethical and governance safeguards.
- All sources of financial sponsorship of the study should be stated at the end of the abstract.
- Outstanding candidates may be asked to make an oral poster presentation) at the Congress. You will be asked to tick whether you would like to be considered for an oral presentation on the submission form.
- If your abstract has been accepted then at least one of the named authors (ideally the presenting author) will need register and pay to attend at least one day of Congress. Otherwise your poster will not be displayed.
